Easy money baby...

I only have four patients today, so it's all about the chillin'. Shan and I are going to try a new mexican restaurant for lunch. Well, it's more like a tacqueria than a restaurant, but whatever.

In other news, I just ordered the fantabulous-sounding cookbook Fran mentioned in her journal. It just sounds way too cool to pass up. Too bad the measurments are in damn metric. Or, I should say, too bad this country is too retarded to switch to metric so I would be used to it by now.

Damn, I'm hungry NOW. Two more hours until lunch. Oh well, at least I GET a lunch today.

I should have said "sometimes". If using a fixed-width font, then I use two spaces as taught in high school typing classes. Otherwise, two spaces make no sense with relative-width fonts.

I always type with double spaces, because it's just easier to do it the way I learned in high school. When my books go for publication I use the little widget in Frame that removes them all.

I've noticed a tendency to use smaller paragraphs if I'm using a single space at the end of a sentence. More white space between the lines makes it much easier to read if you don't have that doublespace cue to look for within a paragraph.

I think it's called Jalisco's. It's a little tacqueria across from the JC in Santa Rosa.

We should be there around 11:15 to 12 or so. ;-)

Mkay, I wanna go. We'll see. I'd have to leave right about now to get there, and I am, as usual, on hold. (I only go online at work when I am on hold.)

Off hold!

I'm the one person who responded in the WTF category. I have never ever heard of this, but then again, English has never been my best subject. It is in fact my worst subject. I'm surprised I can even form a coherent sentence.

It continues to be creepy how much Virtual Bryan looks like Real Life Bryan.

I mean, my model was hot and everything, but................wow. Freaky.

Jen says my profile picture looks like a mugshot. I think it makes me look dignified. So the compromise is that I look like a dignified criminal. I guess I'm ok with that.

Back when i was freelancing, i actually got yelled at for a client for not puting two spaces between sentences. So i sat down with them and said, "look, that's just the way HTML works. I have no control over it. We could stick 300 spaces in there and it'd still show as just one." End of discussion.

Of course, i didn't tell them that i coulda done the   thing. Cuz ya know what? Two spaces between senteces is fucking LAME!

On the web, no, but in term papers and essays, they're pretty much required by professors. In fact, i'm so much into the habit of double spacing that i can't stand to look at what i've written until I double space all of the sentences. If i'm trying to save space, i use 1.5 spacing.

No, no, no! I don't mean double spacing paragraph format. I mean hitting the space bar two times after a period.

Stupid, you said between sentences! Oh wait, i know what you mean :)
ha ha ha. Actually yeah, i tend to double space in sentences because in fonts like times new roman, i cant tell too much between a spacing between a letter and a regular space. Umm..yeah.

This freaks me out. It just doesn't look right. Too spaced out. Like I'm creating a list or something. I think I will stick to my single spacing.

Gah! Stupid HTML spoiled my fun. My previous post was supposed to have double spacing between sentences. You'll have to trust me on this one folks, it wasn't pretty.
