Got up early and ran a couple miles on the treadmill this morning, then made some eggs and did some laundry. I feel great! I really want to try to work out more in the morning and also try to eat breakfast every day. I think I'm really messing up my training/diet by not eating breakfast.

In other news, I hate when people don't reply properly in LiveJournal. There's the people who reply to comments in their journal with a new comment, instead of a reply to the comment, and then there's people who reply to the journal post by replying to a comment already posted. Dumb fuckers.

I'm getting less back on my refund than I thought this year. Not by much, but by enough to annoy me. I'm going to really seriously start thinking about offloading the boat this year. I just don't think I can justify the expense anymore. There's too many other things I want to do. Shan mentioned taking a vacation to a tropical place this year and I've really wanted to get to Jamaica or the Caribbean or Mexico lately. I think I'll put the boat up for sale this spring. When I got out of the army I told myself I would visit a different country at least once every year after I got out. I justified not doing that by getting the boat but, for what I'm paying, I can rent a nicer boat AND take vacations for the amount of time we actually use the boat. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Also, I'm back down to 200 following my holiday gorging. That's down from 222 when we started in...September? October? I think I want to drop another ten pounds. Or at least ten pound of fat. 200 is a fine weight for me as long as it's a lean 200.

Re:
That's a good idea because I often get up really early then lay in bed and agonize about getting up instead of just getting up. Then I always feel great when I DO get up.

Apropos of nothing...
Someone told me once that you and Shannon got your wedding package on eBay. How did you find it on there?

Re: Apropos of nothing...
That's true. Totally by accident, and totally by chance.

Once we decided to start planning a wedding (last Jan.) I started looking on ebay for wedding stuff (anything-dress, shoes, veil, favors, invites, etc.), so I just did a search for "wedding" and up popped the package for a complete wedding in Vegas.

Turned out a bride had bought a package from the place, then she and her fiancé decided to wed in their hometown instead. The place told her she could sell the package to another bride as long as the balance of what she owed was paid.

I spoke to her directly, I spoke to the place directly, it all sounded legite, so we bought the package with the Buy it Now option. The seller paid the balance of what she owed with what we paid her and the place replaced her name on the contract with ours. Voila. We got a $4500 package for $1500, and she cut her losses and I assume had her wedding at home.

The site worked wonderfully for and with us, so if you guys are thinking of having a pretty traditional wedding in Vegas, I'd highly recommend them.

See, this is why you are so great. Nobody else could pull off griping about something so minor, and yet so TRUE, with such aplomb. Cheers.
