Dang I had wierd dreams last night. I dreamt someone stole all my bikes! Waahhh! I also dreamt that I was on some mission with an elf and another guy and we had swords and crap and...jesus I've been reading way too much fantasy lately. Slept better than last night though, as I had the fan on me.

My son can't make it out for our camping trip. This dismays me to no end but I'm also proud of him because he's doing this playoff tournament thing in baseball(and he pitches). Still, it sucks big time. The girls will still be coming out though, which is good and we'll get Christian out here sometime or another. When did kids start having lives that don't revolve around what their parents tell them to do? I must know. I think Christian may become a professional ball player. That would be sweet. Just think of all the beer he could buy me.

He's going to miss the river! I went to the river every year from when I was 8 'til I was...I don't know, maybe 18. And now I'm going again. Oh well, maybe it's time for a new tradition. I bet he wouldn't pass up Disney World for baseball. ;-)

Hook me up with an autograph! Then in fifteen years, I could buy beer too!

Sorry he couldn't make it out, I've been looking forward to meeting your kids.

Maybe he'll be a Yankee!

I can picture you now, sitting in the ballpark drinking beer after beer after beer after beer after beer....

OK, here is the $64,000 question: Is he a left-handed pitcher? How you answer that can determine whether he grows up to become a dime-a-dozen pitcher, or a highly coveted left-hander.

Even if he isn't left-handed, tell him to learn to pitch with his left hand. He will be far more valuable as a pitcher if he is. He'll have a better pick of teams, have stronger negotiating room, and end up with a better contract that pays considerably better.

Oh, and how old is he -- like 11? Baseball players get scouted out of high school, so we're only looking at 6 or 7 years down the road.

He'll be thirteen in September. No, he's not left handed, but he'll never be "dime-a-dozen" anything.

Pitch left-handed? Put him behind the dish!

He might not, but I would. I just got back from Disney World, and it sucks. HARD. Not that fun at all.

Really? I've never been there. What sucked about it?

A lot of things. The rides are terrible, Epcot is uninteresting, the Magic Kingdom is really not that "magical" and parks like Six Flags blow it out of the water.

While it's impossible to account for another person's taste, I find the Disney parks extremely fun. Epcot in particular (maybe you don't drink?).

The Magic Kingdom is aimed at small children.
