Ah man, reminiscing. I was looking around on Google maps and decided to look around my hometown. I was born and raised, until i was 14, in Escondido, CA.  So many of my memories are unclear though.  I looked at the houses I'd lived in, the schools I went to, my old haunts and stomping grounds, and the paths I used countless times to get there.  But I couldn't see most of them clearly.  There are moments in my life that I've intentionally crystalized in my memory and they can be quite vivid, but most of my past is hazy and fragmented.  It makes me feel sad.  I want to go back and see those places again, and I will, but I know that won't make it any better.  I'll just see those places and maybe remember a little more, but I will never be able to see them again through my, say, 10 year old or 14 year old eyes. I'll never be able to get "that feeling" again.

Eh, enough waxing melancholy.  I think it's because my underwear are too tight.  I think I'll throw them away at lunch and free ball the rest of the day.  That will cheer me up.

Mary's Pizza meatballs for lunch.  Mmmm.

Beer, cigarettes and WoW for dinner!

Nope, sorry. Do you know what schools he went to? I went to Conway elementary from 79-82, Oak Hill elementary from 82-84, Hidden Valley middle school from 84-86 and Orange Glen HS from 86-87.

Well he wouldn't have gone to school with you, as he is a bit younger. It's just random. I'd never heard of Escondido before I knew him and some of his friends, so its only natural that everyone from there knows each other. :)

I'm still blown away by the fact that I know two people who grew up in Woonsocket, RI that don't know each other. I mean, that place has to be the size of a strip mall. Woonsocket? :P

I haven't been to Escondido since 1989 or so. And I was underage, so prolly no. ;)
