More motorcycle lust. Someone on my FL got a bike today and it got me salivating for one again so I cruised Craigslist today and saw this Vulcan. I emailed the guy and, if it all checks out, I think I'm going to get it. It's got a high backed passenger seat and a rack on the back which would make it perfect for overnight camping. Can you say Leonids and Perseids at Sugarloaf Ridge? And OMG I know the road up there will be so nice to ride on a bike. With gas hitting $4/gallon here soon I can justify this more and more easily.

Nice King and Queen seat! The rack won't hold much, I don't recall the weight limits on those things. It is missing highway pegs (an option I always put on my bikes), but it looks like a great bike for a good price!

You know, I've had bike with highway pegs before and I hardly ever used them, so I don't think I'd get them on any bike I got. I just don't like that stretched out position. I'd rather lean on the handlebars or something to relieve back stress.

I guess my legs are a bit longer, I tend to eat my knees a bit on bikes and need to stretch them out for periods of time.

Haha, nice! Glad to see I'm influential. ;-)

I know where you can probably pick up an '86 Virago 1100, cheap!

That's funny because I almost bought a Virago last month. Aww they removed the picture.

Would you put it in the garage or in the side yard?

FYI intro to paragliding day in marin is $225.

The garage probably. It would be too much of a pain to take out the trash otherwise. That would be cool to have the secret motorcycle ramp though. Sadly, that bike got sold.
