In the last few days we watched Superbad and Juno. Superbad was pretty funny; definitely this generation's Can't Hardly Wait or Sixteen Candles. I laughed, I cringed, it was all good in the hood like a pube salad with Seth's dressing.

I thought Juno was really good. Every character that you started out liking revealed some really crummy trait and every character that you started out disliking ended up having some really redeeming characteristics. I like movies that show people to be people. Not that I don't like movies with people playing classic archetypes, but I think it's more difficult to make you like someone you dislike and vice versa.

Looks like I'm done here at work. Have a good weekend!

We started watching Superbad with Justin's dad, and needless to say didn't finish it. Juno we watched a couple of nights ago and really enjoyed it.

Yeah well you know how I like the sophomoric humor. Any movies where they make shit, fucking, drinking, etc jokes all the way through is good for me.

Oh no, I like all that too, we just couldn't get through it with the FIL. I tried to play it cool like, "oh, whatever, he's heard the f-word plenty", but it was just too mortifying after a while.

Heh. Superbad was awesome, and it spawned some a great gag reel, too: http://youtube.com/watch?v=e5WhXW1lyAk

I cannot possibly say enough good things about "Juno." Such a great movie. That Ellen Page (is she legal?) is so awesome. "Juno" is a restoration of faith.
And I'm drunk.
the. end.
