Der Leib Die Glut Die Kraft

My sister sent me a bunch of links to the openings of a bunch of shows we used to watch as kids. If you're in your thirties, you'll probably get a kick out of these.

Land of the Lost(can't embed).

The only one of those I've seen is Fraggle Rock. Acid must have been a LOT stronger back then.

The great thing about growing up in the 70s was that you didn't even need to do drugs to feel like you were on drugs!

And Fraggle Rock is the one that I haven't seen!

And you're so right about the acid - damn!

I have no doubt in my mind that Sid and Marty Kroft were doing heavy, heavy mind altering drugs.
Remember Zoobilee Zoo ?

lol, no! The only religious show we watched as kids, and I know you know this one, was Davy and Goliath. Although some other shows were kind of preachy like 8 is Enough and The COurtship of Eddie's Father.

You might want to watch it.

And then Google Fatal Farm.

Dynasty is the best.

Did you watch the Dynasty one? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BT9bH2xJlU) For my money, the best of a very funny bunch.

I recognized the first three but never watched them. 3-2-1 Contact was one of my favorites though. And Land of the Lost.

OMG that boat with the eyeball! I haven't thought about that in years. Freaky.

It's funny to see how SLOW the pace is for the intros, compared to now.
