Shan and I saw Milk tonight. Man, it was really good. Also saw some pretty good previews(two new Kate Winslet movies? Woo!)

Speaking of movies, I just recently figured out there was an app for streaming Netflix movies to the xBox, so we've been watching a ton of movies that way.

Speaking of xBox, I've been playing it a lot lately. Played through Portal three times now, playing some annoying game called Braid and also a bit of Rainbox Six Vegas 2 and some demos.

My kids are in town! I'm picking them up tomorrow morning. I can't wait! I don't know what we're going to do.

I've also been screwing around with computer stuff today. I got a kit for learning how to program microcontrollers. I got a USB version but the USB port came loose in the box with the board. Ok, no prob, I soldered it on. Tried to get the programming software to recognize it with no luck so I e-mailed their tech support to see if maybe the board was bad:
I'm a little confused why there is a need to solder the USB port
on the board; as it should have came already soldered. Was it broken off
and soldered back on?"

I also completely wiped my laptop, did fresh installs of Vista Ultimate and Ubuntu 8.10(and got rid of OpenSolaris, which didn't work.)

I had an old Linksys WRT54G router that I installed DD-WRT on and turned into a range extender for Shan, since her WiFi connection wasn't very good. Now her connection is booming(and she'll probably get a tan from all the RF coming off that thing.)

Installed BT3 on my new USB stick and made new XP and Vista Ophcrack CDs.
