Wow, it's hot here! I love it! I got off work early today and had intended to go for a ride but I got wrapped up in cleaning house and lost motivation. Shan and I are going to ride to that race later, so not a complete loss. Also, this Sierra Nevada tastes mighty fine. We need some folding lounge chairs for the deck so I can lay out there. And a big bucket to put iced beers in. And I want some outdoor, weather-resistant speakers. And a little senorita to rub me down with tanning oil and fetch me the afforementioned beers.

This is me on the ride:

I think you need to raise your seat another inch or so. Your leg is still flexed on extension. ;)

Actually, you're supposed to have a slight bend in the knee on full extension.

Perhaps he has one of those "shock absorber" seats on his bike, like I have on mine? I know my seat should be higher to get the proper extension of my legs, but if it were that much higher then I wouldn't be able to get on it. See, it sinks down when I'm sitting on it, which sucks. But it helps with shocks to my butt, I guess, although I wouldn't know as I tend to ride standing up when going over bumps and rough terrain.

Sorry, my two cents and a quick gripe about my bike.

Don't talk to me about hot. It was 105° today and is going to be 108° tomorrow. So, bite me. :)
