Hooray for Friday!

I met the challenge of getting destroyed last night.  Here's the strange thing:  I find it so interesting that i can get tanked from a 12 pack or be completely sober after drinking one.  It's all in the hips, baby. I chatted up some friends and chatted it up in chat and chatted it up with an also-schnookered Shan.  All in all, it was a good night. I was a little groggy this morning but nothing bad.  Luckily *I* wasn't drinking tequila, like some people. I had a bacon cheeseburger for breakfast, which improved my mood immensely and, since it's Friday, I'm just a happy camper.

I wanted to give a shoutout to a new software I've been using.  It's called Desktop Rover. It's basically an automatic software KVM switch, minus the video.  This is how I use it:  At my job I use two different computers, each with their own keyboard, mouse and monitor.  Now, I want for each of them to use thier own monitor, but having two keyboards and mice is just a mess.  This program lets me use just one set of keyboard/mouse (computers must be networked, btw).  It works just like a dual monitor setup, so when I move the mouse off of one screen it goes onto the other screen and I can work on that computer.  It rules. I don't need to clutter up my desktop with extra peripherals that just get in the way of each other.  One note:  You still have to have a keyboard and mouse hooked up to the other computer, and you will need them for when you reboot, to log on.  For me this isn't an issue since I only reboot the client machine a few times a year and the keyboard and mouse are completely hidden between my flat panel monitors and the wall.

Happy Friday everyone!

You should really start reading more than just your clique filter, you know. That's why you miss stuff.
