I think John wanted to kill my that one Thanksgiving I was at his house.

I LOVE Ben Folds too!

I don't mind Ben Folds. DM is in serious need of having his private jet crash, though.

I like Dave Matthews. I was listening to one of his songs a few minutes ago. Do you have a camera here or sumfin? Are you spying?

Oh wait, you hate shoes.

>flips you off

I hate him because I can't get "Ants Marching" via napster.

Get on IM and I'll send it to you. Or send me your addy.

PS: Wanna make out?

I'd make out except I think I'm coming down with something. I'm FroggyPasta8

If you have to snot, snot in this.

Actually (back to the song) my friends are bringing their son over at 8:30 am (argh) so I should go to bed; forget AIM

Can you send me that thing without getting arrested? I'd fucking pay Mr. Matthews for it if he'd just make it available via napster!!! I'm not interested in buying the whole album. Although I am sure I could find it in a used CD store.

I probably have room for it in my sixpackmomma@yahoo.com account.

I don't know if I hate him, per se. I just think that all his songs will be really, really good when someone else remakes them. (Like what Jimi Hendrix did for Bob Dylan. ;-)

I like him ok, even if he and his band do poop on Chicago tourists.

It's not that I hate him, it's that I can't stand the way he sings. Your lyrics can be deep, and inspiring, your musical arrangements complex and mature, but if you sound like a crack head when you sing them, i'm going to hate your music no matter what you sing about.

Sing it, bruthah!

And no matter how bad that sounded, I take comfort in the fact that it still sounded better than Dave Matthews.

he's boring

DMB sounds like a mix of the Grateful Dead and Sting, only with worse vocals than either. And a drummer who wants to be Neil Peart. And don't they use a fucking violin? And do we really need to give suburban mall hippies their own soundtrack? And did I mention the shitty-ass whiny vocals? Shall I go on?

Shut up pig!
Sep. 10th, 2004 10:07 pm (UTC)
You know it makes me hard when you talk rough.

p.s. Way to try to hijack my Pit thread, bitch! Save that shit for Miller.
Sep. 10th, 2004 10:10 pm (UTC)
You so like it!
Sep. 11th, 2004 12:12 am (UTC)
Miller?!? I thought you were saving your balls for ME. Bitch!

p.s. I like the Dave Matthews Band because I'm part of the VH-1 demographic. And "Rhyme & Reason" is just a damn good song.
Sep. 11th, 2004 05:25 pm (UTC)
Nah, I think you caught on to the joke. Miller never seemed to, though.
However , likng DMB is arguably ball-drag worthy.
Sep. 10th, 2004 10:00 pm (UTC)
You would.
Sep. 11th, 2004 06:20 am (UTC)
Whatever you may think about Dave Matthews, I would not recommend a Dave Matthews cover band in an underground bar in Newport with a singer who was more energetic than accurate and sweats a lot.
Sep. 11th, 2004 08:33 am (UTC)
I love DMB! You are not alone.
Sep. 11th, 2004 01:59 pm (UTC)
Seconded. I've even tossed my bra at him.
