I was doing some research on the Strategic Petroleum Reserves today, when I came across this web page. Look at that picture. That's only two years ago. "Record highs"! God, I would die for $2/gallon now. Fucking bullshit.

You think that's bullshit, just think how bad it'll be in two more years. Another war in the Mideast (or two or three, after this one), another major hurricane or two, plus random refinery problems, and in two years you could be looking back and saying, "I would die for $4/gallon now!"

Makes me glad I don't drive at all, even here in LA.
