I'm always sad when there is someone killed or some tragedy or bombing or fire or whatever when people are killed but this Virginia Tech thing makes me feel really, really sad. It's always harder for me to accept death when it is pointless. You know, if 500 people die in an earthquake, or from some terorist than at least there is an explanation. They died because of nature or hatred. But in cases like this it just leaves you with a big empty spot in your chest that is desperately asking why.

I love surfing Wikipedia. A link from Astronomy Picture of the Day lead me there yesterday and I ended up spending about an hour reading up on about 20 different topics that were all related in some way. I think some type of software that tracked surfing would be neat for those times when you're looking at a web page about growing tomatoes and then, five sites later, you're reading about Anne Frank. It would be cool to list the site topics or someting so you could, well, blog it I guess.

The Paris-Brest-Paris is this year. I had intended to ride it this year but good old life happened. Well, I have 4 years to get in shape for the next one. God, I'll be 37.
