There's this May Day immigrants march coming up that I really want to go to. I want to get a super-cheesy Jesus shirt and a HUGE Mexican flag and march with them. Not because I necessarily support them or anthing, I just think it would be fun. Maybe make up some really nonsensical protest chant and try to get other people saying it. I wish I knew Spanish. I'm a sucky Mexican.

Oh wow, I was going to try to find a link to the march, but then I found this message board. Creeeepy. Oh man, these guys are seriously nuts.

Oh wait, I just remembered the awesome shirt Jeff gave me. I am totally going and wearing it.

edit: Fuck I already have patients scheduled that day. Why can't Mexicans have marches on weekends instead of weekdays? Oh yeah, because they are lazy.

A slogan, exhausted, should never be repeated!

Or,

Hey hey, ho hum, these boring chants are really dumb!

Yeah, but see, it would need to be in Spanish to really work for this.

If they go with English, they will chant,
"We hate you!
We blame you!
Our people do not claim you!"

"I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it."

Could be even funnier in Spanish.

You're evil! Although I think I would prefer to stay on the side and watch the two groups' reaction when they see each other.

Hey, is that the Gonzales from Louisiana?

No, it's an exit sign for a town in central CA. And also my last name. ;)

Hmm, now I wonder how many towns are named after you! ;)

Well, Gonzales is the Mexican equivalent of English Smith, so I'm assuming many, many towns are named after me. ;)

Even in the US? I only knew of a Gonzales in Louisiana (and apparently it's been that way for 200 years)...

Well maybe I'm biased since I grew up in california, but there were like 100 graduating Gonzaleses in my freshman year of high school.
